What is Progynova 1mg?

Progynova 1mg tablet contains Estradiol which is related to the category of medicines called Estrogens. This is a type of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) used to treat postmenopausal women (with at least 6 months since their last natural period) to provide relief from symptoms that occur after menopause. Like hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings, vaginal dryness, and decreased interest in sexual activity. Caused by a deficiency of female sex hormones.

Also used to treat and prevent osteoporosis (a condition marked by weak and fragile bones) which occurs after menopause in few women who are at high risk of fractures.
