What is Menotas XP 1200 IU injection?
Menotas XP 1200 IU is a hormonal injection containing menotropin which is a mixture of two hormones namely luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). Both LH and FSH occur naturally in men as well as women and are involved in normal reproductive functions. Menotropin is extracted from the urine of post-menopausal women which is rich in hormones that can help in treating male hypogonadism in men.
Uses to treat infertility
Menotas 1200 IU belongs to the class of drugs called gonadotropins. It’s used in the treatment of infertility in women and men. In females, women whose ovaries are unable to release the egg for fertilization from the ovaries during the ovulation period. It helps in egg (ovum) growth and stimulates the release of the matured eggs from the ovaries into the uterus. Also helps to treat ovulation problems in women with polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD), especially in those who are not responding appropriately to other medicines.
In the male body increasing the testosterone level in men increases the good level of sperm. Men who have low/inadequate sex hormones are unable to produce sperm properly. Menotas XP 1200 IU injection helps increase testosterone levels naturally. Resulting in an increase in sperm count. Increasing chances of conceiving naturally.
