What is LMWX 60 mg injection?

LMWX 60 mg is Enoxaparin 60 mg. It is a form of low molecular weight heparin that belongs to the drugs called anticoagulants also known as blood thinners. It works by stopping the formation of blood clots. Prevents the existing blood clots from growing. Blood clots are caused by different types of medical conditions such as unstable angina. Formation of clots after surgery, spending long periods of bed rest due to illness. Many people suffer from heart attacks, and blood clots form in your dialysis machine’s tubes.

LMWX 60 injection uses

A blood clot is a mass when platelets, proteins, and cells in the blood stick together. Blood clots can occur in any body part like heart attack, stroke, organ damage (even coma or death), or paralytic attack. These injections are mainly used in pregnancy after successful IVF implantation of the embryo. In IVF, LMWX 60 mg prevents blood clots which are responsible for causing miscarriage due to blood clots.

LMWX 60 injection is sometimes used during dialysis, after and before surgery, or severe chest pain (angina), and in some cases, it is used during the period of Pregnancy. LMWX 60 mg injection also helps to prevent the growth of existing blood clots. It can also be used to reduce the risk of blood clot formation caused by prolonged periods of immobility or due to cancer therapy.

LMWX 60 injection is not recommended for use in patients who are bleeding heavily or have any pre-existing conditions (such as stomach ulcer or stroke) that can increase the risk of internal bleeding. It is also not suitable for use in patients scheduled for spinal injury or lumbar puncture.

There are some side effects of this injection like bleeding, pink patches on your skin, high platelets count in blood, injection site reactions (such as pain or irritation), skin rashes, low platelet count, bleeding or bruising, and headache edema, anemia, fever, diarrhea, and increased liver enzymes. A severe headache could be a sign of bleeding in the brain.
