What is Gufigest progesterone gel?

Gufigest Vaginal Gel 8% contains progesterone gel. It’s a female hormone, it’s helping to regulate ovulation and the menstruation cycle in women. And belongs to the category of medicines known as hormones used to treat female infertility and to aid pregnancy. It is also used to restore the menstrual cycle in women who have missed their periods. Gufigest Vaginal Gel induces secretory changes in the endometrium lining of the uterus, relaxes the uterus, blocks the maturation and release of follicles, and maintains pregnancy. And increase the progesterone level in the body.

Also used help to replacement of hormone therapy in women to support pregnancy, prevent premature labor, and treat bleeding disorder that may occur before menopause &  who passes menopause. And use to prevent uterine Cancer.

Progesterone gel is placed in your vagina once a day for progesterone supplementation or twice a day for progesterone replacement using a special applicator as instructed by a doctor.

It is intended for intra-vaginal use only. In some cases, Gufigest Vaginal Gel may cause abdominal pain, headache, constipation, nausea, and breast pain/enlargement. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
